For clinics, pharmacies, nurses and vets
Families near you who need a wound, burn or bite seen today
Qera checks wounds, burns, bites and skin problems over WhatsApp, for people and their pets. When a case is AMBER or RED and the family asks for help, nearby partners see it here. The first to claim it gets the family's number and the photo timeline.
Free to join. No monthly fee.

You only pay for the cases you claim
Join and load a wallet
No sign-up fee and no monthly fee. You load a prepaid wallet, from R100 at a time.
Nearest partners look first
When a family asks for a clinic, the 3 nearest open partners get a 3-minute first look, by SMS and email.
Then the wider area
If nobody claims it in that time, every partner within 40 km can see it.
Claim, then call
Claiming costs a flat R30 per case, paid from your wallet. Only the partner who claims pays. You get the family's number, their answers and the photos.
We check your registration first
Clinics, GP practices, pharmacies, nurses and vets can join. Cases about people go to practices registered with the HPCSA, SAPC or SANC. Cases about animals go to vets registered with the SAVC.
We check your registration and practice number before you see any case, usually within one working day.
The Fair-Fee Covenant caps what you charge
For a case you claim through Qera, consultation, admin, facility and after-hours fees together stay at or below the cap. Medicine, dressings, procedures and tests are charged at your normal rates.
Families can send us a photo of their invoice. If the capped fees are over the limit, your account is paused until you refund the difference or win an appeal. A third upheld overcharge within 12 months removes the practice from Qera. Read the covenant.
